    POWERFLEX REAR SHOCK TOP MOUNTING BUSHES - R55 CLUBMAN GEN 1 (2007 - 2014) - PFR5-115

Was able to take out the sub assemblies for these bushes without taking the trailing arm off the car. Jack up onto axil stands - both wheels off the car - peel back the carpet wheel arch lining reveals the assembly - three bolts easy accessed - needs a bit of grunt to get them going - used an extension bar on the socket set. Once the assembly is on work bench I used an electric jigsaw to cut out the old rubber and the aluminum sleave - a bit of a bash but it broke out fine. Cleaned up the assembly and pushed the new aluminum ring into place - had to use a soft head mallet to encourage a very tight fit but happy. Fitting the blue A & B was easy and the core. The instructions that came with this pack were straight forward - just make sure you note when you take the assembly off the car which side is the 'outside' and the 'inside' of the car. Refitting the assembly was simple enough - (but I would recommned you put the bolt into the bush before final bolting the assembly to the car as there is not a lot of room to play with when in possition. Tighten up with plenty of torq to make sure the assembly is snug then I used the trolley jack to encourage the end of the trailing arm up into alignment for the big bolt to go through and tighten up. Was glad I did not need to undo the trailing arm from the hub et al. Delighted.
